"Angela worked on three bathroom projects. Her suggestions were spot on for each bathroom. In the guest bath she recommended only replacing the light over the mirror - keeping everything else as is. The second bathroom remodel included new lights, mirror, vanity and paint. We kept the existing cabinet and painted it a fresh new color. The master bath was a complete remodel. A new configuration provided for a larger shower space. We picked out beautiful tile and accessories. It turned out fabulous. Angela is super fun to work with. She has great ideas and is open to working with what you already have if it fits in the new plan (keeping existing vanities, etc.). She has good relationships with suppliers and contractors. I will definitely call her for my next project."

In my initial meeting with her we talked about my ideas, styles and likes. She suggested a number things we hadn't even thought of, like a framed 5' x 7' mirror, that looks amazing and is the perfect item for that particular wall! She was so easy to work with, didn't push any of her ideas on me, and quickly grasped what I liked and didn't like. The end result is a beautiful home that we get many compliments on. And the best part is that it looks even better than my vision due to Angela's expertise on what pieces work best where, size of furniture and artwork to best fit the space. "Noted: Angela and I knew each other from school days. I was referred to Angela by a mutual friend for a main bathroom remodel/renovation project and a partial kitchen re-model project. Angela spoke with my wife and I, and explained what she would do, how much a bathroom re-model and kitchen remodel would cost and the timeframe to get the project completed. Both the timeframe and cost came out exactly as she predicted. Angela prides herself on coming into a new project, listening to what the home owner wants/requests, and then makes it happen. That is exactly what occurred for us. My wife and I are extremely pleased and happy with how the bathroom remodel and partial kitchen remodel turned out. Both rooms feel modern, fresh but also comfortable and in style for a house built in the 1950s. "Purchase of downtown Minneapolis condo. Contacted Angela Chaffee at Valentine Design to assist with interior design updates for lighting and light fixtures, painting and wallpaper selections and vendors, replacement of cabinet, and upgrade of a couple of blinds and draperies. Also with the open floor plan looking for her expertise and guidance on furnishings and accessories. Angela is fabulous to work with. The contractors she works with are great people to work with and skilled, knowledgeable professionals. They made all of the scheduling and timelines workable and delivered when they said they would with an extremely looking professional delivery. Angela is creative and she is willing to work with and incorporate in the design what we currently had and wanted to take with us as well as easily ascertaining my husband's and my interest and the look we felt we wanted to achieve. She is open to work with multiple vendors and suppliers. She is great at selecting multiple pieces online for us to review and select from. In those few situations where we were not clicking with the choices she offered, she gave us other names of vendors or sites to review. As we identified something we liked and thought would work, she reviewed and let us know she was in agreement and she thought our choice would look great. She is a delightful person to work with. "If you want an experienced, thoughtful interior designer, then Valentine Design is the right fit for you. Angela is personable and gets the time to know you, your family, your style. She sticks to your budget and never pressures you to go over the amount you want to spend. She will take the time to really get familiar with your project. She is amazing with color, mixing textures, creating gallery walls. She took my favorite sitting room and made it even more amazing with beautiful lamps and a gallery wall.
